Home Visits

If you are too ill to come to the surgery please try to phone before 11.00 a.m. This helps the doctors plan their visits for the day. The receptionist will take details and pass them to the doctor on-call, who will assess whether a visit is necessary and if so how urgent it is.

The doctor may telephone you for more information before a visit so please ensure the practice always has your correct contact details.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
